  Dining at Wagamama Silverlink was a particularly unique experience. While I’ve never had an issue at other branches before, the service and food here was extremely disappointing. Our main server, Chiara, was polite and professional, but she unfortunately stood out in a team of rude, inattentive, and arrogant staff. We were told by the hostess that staff from different “backgrounds” were inadequate, something that came across to our party as a racist remark. This, we noticed, was only said to people sat in sections that were being handled by non-white members of staff. When I told the manager that my bao bun had mould, it was brought back to me and I was told it was not mould, but cross contamination. The chef was then sent out to apologise, very clearly embarrassed. Back of house should never have to deal with customer complaints. This is disgraceful. I hope their service and attitude improves over time, but I will not be returning to find out.

  We visited Wagamama Silverlink this afternoon and, having been to other branches, this one was sub standard. Our order was taken by Abbie (or Amy?) who introduced herself and was the only one who shown a good degree of attention. She mentioned that the food was cooked fresh and it would arrive separately, which is understandable. The Buldak Firecracker Chicken Bites were really flavoursome, the Steak Teriyaki Soba was warm and tasty but the Chicken & Prawns Yaki Soba, which arrived last, was stone cold and really dry to which we resorted to add some soy sauce from the table dressings. We were sat outside and our table wasn't touched once and none of the staff seemed to care if we were having a good dining experience. The majority of staff looks inexperienced and quite obviously lacks some essential training. A bit of a shame as we always enjoyed Wagamama and we were looking forward to have one near us.

  I’d never had Wagamama before visiting the one at Clarks Village in Street, and honestly, it set the bar very high. The food was absolutely amazing — so good that I went back every night I was staying there just to try something different. Everything was packed with flavour and had that warm, comforting taste that reminded me of home. I’d never even liked gyoza before, but the ones at Street completely changed my mind — they were perfect. So when I got home and saw a Wagamama had opened at Silverlink, practically on my doorstep, I was genuinely excited to go. Unfortunately, it was a massive disappointment in comparison. The noodles were overcooked, the sesame that brought so much flavour to the dish at Street seemed to be missing, and the ramen broth just didn’t have that same depth or comforting flavour. Even the gyoza I’d been so excited to have again tasted, silverlink quite frankly, tasted like a fart 😂 I know it’s a new restaurant and the team may still be finding their feet, so I really hope things improve. I’d genuinely recommend the Silverlink team speak to the Clarks Village restaurant for some guidance, because the difference in quality between the two was huge. Clarks Village showed me just how good Wagamama can be. I’d love for my local one to eventually reach that same standard.

  Been to a few Wagamamas over the years and this new Silverlink one might be my favourite so far. Calum the manager was on the door when we came in, sorted us a table straight away and was genuinely friendly about it, not just going through the motions. Kai and Erika looked after us for the meal and honestly couldn't have asked for better, checked in at the right times, quick with everything and just really lovely with it. The duck donburi and the beef bao were spot on too. We'll definitely be back. Cheers to the three of them.

  We visited as a family of 5. 2 children with dietry requirements including celiac. When walking in the atmosphere and environment was welcoming and energetic, the staff were friendly and attentive. One of the managers took our order due to the allergies, it was a very easy process and we felt in safe hands. Although it was busy we didnt feel rushed and the staff remained happy, polite and attentive at all times. We had 3 sides hot honey chicken, the new ribs and bao buns all of which were fantastic, the chicken was outstanding with ribs being a close second. For the mains I tried the new salmon rice bowl which was delicious, very tasty with a great combination of flavours. The kids managed two chicken ramen bowls (one rice noodles) and ice cream and gluten free brownie! Everyone loved it and we will definately be back regularly .
